Healthy Intimacy explores the sacred gift of human sexuality through three fundamental aspects of adult psychosexual maturity; Identity, Intimacy, and Integration. Looking at both research and experience, the workshop discusses the challenges and the opportunities of spirituality in a celibate lifestyle and looks at the critical importance of a mature self-identity, including a deepening self-awareness and self-acceptance. It addresses healthy as well as unhealthy ways adults express intimacy in relationships and coping with loneliness such as “cybersex” and other sexual addictions and compulsions. The program can be a source of healing and wholeness both for oneself and those one is called to minister.
