On February 6, 2018, the Congregation for the Causes of Saints approved the second miracle needed for the canonization of Blessed Pope Paul VI. The second miracle attributed to Pope Paul VI is the healing of an unborn child during the mother’s fifth month of pregnancy. Cardinal Angelo Amato, head of the congregation, will present the miracle to Pope Francis. Following the Pope’s approval, and issuance of an official decree, a date for canonization can be set.
