Catholic Educators Return to Cincinnati for their Annual Convention and Expo

After a lapse of twenty-three years, the City and Archdiocese of Cincinnati are jointly welcoming back the National Catholic Education Association Convention.  This year’s gathering from April 3-5, 2018 is expected to host approximately 4300 attendees from the local area and around the world.

The Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano, Bishop of Bridgeport, will deliver the Keynote Address at the opening ceremonies on Tuesday April 3, 2018.  Bishop Caggiano is a noted catechist and a strong advocate for young people within the Catholic faith.

During the three day convention educators will have an opportunity to strengthen their teaching skills and faith formation at a choice of 230 professional development sessions. The NCEA will honor twenty-six people and organizations at an awards dinner Tuesday. These are people who demonstrate a strong Catholic educational philosophy.
