For nearly 50 years, the U.S. Catholic Church has celebrated National Migration Week. This year, with special attention on refugees from the Holy See and with migration crises around the world, the event holds particular importance. The USCCB has chosen “Many Journeys, One Family” as the theme for National Migration Week 2018, to be held January 7-13. During this time, the USCCB asks us to “engage migrants as community members, neighbors, and friends.”
On their website, the USCCB has a toolkit which includes information, talking points, and homily suggestions for National Migration Week.
